After quite some sweet long hours of work, I finally got my first experimental mobile website launched!! http://marquette.cliqlaunch.com/marquette/stephanieexperiment/one.aspx Click on, copy and paste, or type this link on your computer or on your mobile devices to check the site out. OR, as a savvy social media user, scan the QR code alongside this article and check it out from there! |
This experimental mobile website is built for Delta Air Lines. The logos and some of the pictures are courtesy of the company, but I also recreated a lot of images and a new slogan "Fly with Delta, fly with delight" just to make it more of a creative product of mine. Everything was arranged in a consistent manner so as to create a better graphic design. Buttons and links are created to link to external website - in this case, mainly the Delta Air Lines official site. With the technologies available, I tried to create the best UX I could by adding buttons and links on relevant parts of the page, and I made each page of the site the size of an iPhone4/4s screen to make it concise and easy to browse.
One tricky part that I feel the need to mention though is that on the second page the upper part from "welcome back" to "flight status" actually links to one same page of user logging in on Delta website. That is due to the structure or coding of the Delta website that you have to log in to use those functions. And unfortunately, that is not something I could technically remodel.
I'm very excited to see this final product sitting there ready to be viewed and tested! So, please feel free to leave some comments!
And I am pretty sure there will be more mobile sites made by StephanieExperiment coming!
